Several key projects are making headway. The Oxidation Ditch features new elevated decks, setting the stage for future concrete work. Meanwhile, the Headworks site sees the electrical room backfilled and underslab piping installation progressing. The Dewatering building is being prepped for a water test with sealings and repairs. The UV building showcases nearly completed CMU installation, and the Clarifier undergoes backfilling with its scum box passing the water test.

Our office remains open during regular hours — Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Oxidation Ditch Upgrades

Aerial view of a construction site featuring an oxidation ditch with multiple concentric concrete rings and elevated steel frameworks for future concrete pours. Adjacent structures are also under construction, with some areas covered by protective white sheeting, and a dirt road running alongside. The site is surrounded by barren land with sparse vegetation.

The Oxidation Ditch now features higher elevated decks, with forms set for future concrete pours.

Headworks Project Advances

The Headworks backfilled the electrical room and began installing the underslab piping.

Dewatering Building Undergoes Pre-Water Test Repairs

The Dewatering building is being prepared for a water test scheduled for next year. Preparation involves sealing holes left by formwork and correcting other concrete imperfections.

UV Building Nears Completion with Impressive CMU Installation

An aerial view of a construction site where the UV building is taking shape. The structure is surrounded by scaffolding, with workers visible on site. The building's concrete block walls are partially erected, and the interior contains construction materials and equipment. The site is bordered by a chain-link fence and is situated near a body of water, with some snow patches visible on the ground.

The UV building is beginning to take shape beautifully, with most of the CMU installation complete.

Clarifier Backfill Advances, Scum Box Passes Water Test

An aerial view of a construction site featuring a large, circular concrete structure with a smaller square section at its center. Surrounding the main structure are several curved concrete walls forming a spiral pattern. Construction equipment and workers are visible on site. The area is bordered by dirt paths and temporary fencing, with a crane and other machinery positioned nearby.

The Clarifier is undergoing additional backfilling, and shoring has been removed. Meanwhile, the scum box has successfully passed its water tightness test.

What's next?

Next week, RLW is set to proceed with the underslab plumbing at the Headworks and continue setting CMU blocks at the UV building. Attention will also be given to the Clarifier, where plans include installing a 3-inch scum line, further earth shoring removal, and connecting the 14-inch effluent line to the vault. Additionally, the final wall of the Oxidation Ditch will be constructed, rebar installation for the elevated decking will persist, and the water test for the anaerobic tank will be completed. Work on the Aerobic Digester will involve ongoing patching and the installation of plugs in preparation for upcoming water tests in January.
