This week, the new sewer main was installed along the back of the property. We will also set forms and rebar for the slab above the wet well and the main level at the headworks. The Oxidation Ditch will continue to see wall additions, with work beginning on laying rebar and forming the walls for the RAS (Return Activated Sludge) and WAS (Waste Activated Sludge) buildings. Additionally, the dewatering building will have rebar and wall forms installed.

Our office remains open during regular hours — Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Gravity Main Installation Advances, Future Manhole Identified

Aerial view of a construction site showing progress on the installation of a gravity main. The green pipeline stretches across the site, with an excavator working alongside it. Several workers can be seen around the pipeline, and equipment is set up for the next phase of the project. In the background, structures for water treatment are under construction, and cranes are in operation. Nearby, a body of water is visible, bordered by dirt paths and construction material.

What's next?

The RAS and WAS building will begin setting forms and pouring walls. At the headworks, the main level slab will be poured, and plumbing will be installed throughout the building. The second clarifier is scheduled for water testing next week and will then be backfilled. More walls will be formed and poured for the Oxidation Ditch. Installation of the influent gravity line and the non-potable water line will continue throughout the week.
